Mr. Gish serves as President & CEO of United States International Finance Partners. He previously served as Director of Global Capital for FCA Corp, investing across more than 10 African countries through the longest-tenured African private equity fund in the U.S. Prior to this role, Mr. Gish served as a Green Beret in the United States Army Special Forces. During his service, Mr. Gish deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan and Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) in Iraq and was selected as U.S. Special Forces Advisor to the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service and as liaison to Joint Forces Land Component Command-Iraq. He graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School.
Mr. Carroll is a Senior Advisor to United States International Finance Partners. He is a lawyer and international affairs consultant in Washington, DC. Mr. Carroll is also the founding managing director of Acorus Capital, a private equity fund investing in Africa, and the senior advisor of Manchester Trade, Ltd., a Washington, DC-based trade policy and investment advisory firm. Mr. Carroll began his career in Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana and later served as assistant general counsel at the agency. He has since consulted for the World Bank, USAID, and other development organizations and was instrumental in designing the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) and PEPFAR. His current board memberships include the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Africa program, the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund, and the Presidential Precinct. Formerly, Mr. Carroll served as a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a charter member of the U.S. Trade Representative’s Trade Advisory Committee on Africa, and an adjunct professor of African Studies at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
Mr. Bensch is a Partner at United States International Finance Partners. Previously, he held investment banking roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and Wells Fargo, where he specialized in structured credit and debt capital markets, originating over $15 billion in financing across various sectors, including energy and hospitality. As CFO of No Brick LLC, Mr. Bensch led accounting and financial operations, securing $53 million in financing to support the company's growth. A former Navy SEAL, he served in Special Operations with deployments to Yemen and Iraq, and supported a Presidential Security detail. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School.
Mr. Swersky is Vice President at United States International Finance Partners. With over 12 years in hospitality and real estate development, he has extensive experience across African markets, having led and negotiated over 35 projects and expanded over 3,000 hotel rooms into new territories. Formerly a senior development manager for Marriott in Africa, Mr. Swersky worked on lodging developments, managed multidisciplinary teams, and fostered partnerships with local and international stakeholders. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cape Town and a diploma in Accommodation Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
Ms. Raghuveera is an Senior Associate at United States International Finance Partners. She brings over 5 years of experience across African markets. Previously, she was the Partnerships Project Manager & Communications Lead at Pula Advisors, a Kenyan insuretech startup, where she led strategic collaborations with institutional partners and managed communications initiatives. Prior to Pula, Ms. Raghuveera worked as a Global Capital and Strategy Associate at FCA Corp in Houston, supporting investment decisions and conducting due diligence across Africa. Ms. Raghuveera holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Emory University.
